An absolute gem of a hotel. The Alex delivers it all: An attentive an accommodating staff, clean and spacious rooms, excellent location just outaide of the city (but a 5-10 minute walk to the train station) great views overlooking the lake, i could go on. Will definitely be staying here again when i come back to Switzerland.

Speaking of the restaurant, the food is absolutely divine. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients, beautifully plated dishes, and flavors that left me wanting more. The breakfast buffet in particular was a highlight, offering a great variety of options to suit every taste. The service at Alex Lake Zürich is second to none. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile, making my stay seamless and relaxing. The hotel itself is stunning—impeccably clean, with modern, stylish décor and a tranquil lakeside setting. The kind of hotel that you do not want to leave...

Super friendly staff, very modern and clean room with a stunning view over Lake Zürich. Naturally a bit high-priced, but you definitely get what you pay for: it's a luxury hotel and you receive first-class treatment. Excellent breakfast buffet. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and walkable, with a simple but great Italian restaurant within a five-minute walking distance if you do not want to dine at the hotel.

This was perhaps one of the loveliest hotels I've stayed in, and that is saying a lot. The staff were so very welcoming, attended to every need and wish. They have a boat to take you to/from downtown Zurich, which we highly recommend. The local ferries tour often around the lake also if you are looking to see more of the lake, as well as a more affordable option. The food was ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟! However, it is expensive, but excellent also! The spa is lovely, they have paddle boards to use, as well as bicycles. Our family had such a lovely stay there!!! You must at least stop there for a cocktail or bite to eat if in the area and not in need of a room.
