Great hotel. We didnt eat at the resturant and didnt get time to go to the spa, becuse we on only spent a night here. However tve room was clean. We had great views of the materhorn.

Very convenient location (4 min walk to the train station and 13 min walk to the ski lift); very friendly staff; there is even a piano in the dining area for guests to play. The only thing less ideal is that there are no plugs near the bed

Location is obviously the only thing going for this place. Terrible food. Hotel is old tired and needs a complete refurbishment. Is stuck in the 1990s is cheap for a reason. Could live with the old decor but the breakfast was really not up to standard. Not in the same league as the other four star hotels in town. Disappointing. Nice staff with very little to work with. Not a towel in sight in the pool area- have to bring from the room. Boot room big enough for 2 people with the smallest ski locker ever seen and a rule of no boots in the boot room! Serving spoons instead of dessert spoons faulty towers in many ways

We loved our stay at Le Mirabeau! We had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn that took our breath away. We loved the breakfast buffet every morning. It was a very easy walk to take the tram to ski. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful choice!

We stayed for two nights in a lovely room with a view of the Matterhorn. The location is convenient to everything in Zermatt. The staff were exceptional. We brought our two dogs, and they had bowls and blankets and treats in the room for them when we arrived. The breakfast was a good assortment of both hot and cold options. I found time to use the spa facilities, and the steam room and sauna were excellent, albeit very hot, even by my standards. We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit Zermatt, and we will be back because it’s such an amazing place!

Perfect location, Perfect everything!!!

We love everything about Le Mirabeau! We travelled to Zermatt for my husbands 50th birthday and could not have been happier with our hotel choice. It is the perfect location, extremely charming throughout, a cozy bar and generous breakfast buffet with staff always willing to make fresh items like omelettes. I left something in our room and they mailed it to me the day we left with no hassle. Our room was upgraded (thank you) and we had an amazing view of the Matterhorn. Lunch at the Bistro was quick and delicious. You will not regret staying here.

Great hotel, great location!

Great hotel and location. In general, the staff was friendly. Livia at the front desk was wonderful. Laura, on the other hand at the breakfast area was very rude and yelled at me and my friend in front of everyone for putting the wrong type of bread in the toaster and made sure to make us feel stupid by emphasize that the toaster was only for toasts. I can feel that she did it out of frustration but if this had happened before then put a sign specifying what type of bread needs to go in the toaster instead of yelling people at 8 in the morning, this happened in our last day and ruined our breakfast but our stay was pleasant and our dogs enjoyed the hotel as we did before this incident happened. Despite of this I can't recommend this hotel enough, our room was amazing we had 2 balconies. Thank you Livia as she gave us an upgrade.

The property is located close to the train station and the town which is super convenient. I booked a room with Matterhorn view and it was lovely to sit on the balcony and wait to see the Matterhorn. (We didn’t in full). Room was ok. A few things were in need of fixing, like light switches falling off in your hand. The room did not have any air con which seems to be a reoccurring issue in Switzerland. The room was boiling and so had to leave the patio door open all night. The bed was comfortable and there were spare pillows plus robes and slippers. Didn’t use the pool area but when we looked it was empty. Breakfast was ok. Things were running out a lot so you had to wait or ask. Bircher was nice and there was a good selection of breads , cheeses etc. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay. However for the price I was just expecting a little more luxury.

Lovely balcony view !!!

The hotel room we had was wonderful with a really nice large balcony #405. The bartender in the lobby is wonderful ( Francesco) spelling not sure of correct, however he deserves a wonderful mention. He represents the hotel with 5 star service. One serious recommendation is whoever the host in the morning needs to lighten up on where they allow guests to sit. The restaurant can be empty and if you ask for window seat she refuses and we watched it happen countless times !!! Allow the people to seat themselves and then accommodate them. Most servers seemed brand new with no clue. Other than that… the location is perfect and we did enjoy the spacious room . Would definitely return. Management please correct the hostess seating issue. It’s not necessary to correct all guest on what table they would like. Thank you !!
