This property is part of a small local hotel chain, the family has an incredible story being local to the area from before 1918. While at the hotel, we experienced a village wide blackout and were snowed in. The staff worked quickly to adjust our accommodations and move us to one of their other hotels with emergency power. You can often find members of the family around the different hotels jumping into action to assist staff and make sure all guest are taken care of. During the power outage, the staff showed true hospitality doing everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible

Amazing hotel. Breakfast is delicious. Bed is comfortable, with different pillow options for you to choose. Spa is a highlight. They provide snacks & fruits throughout the day which is a very nice thing. Location is great too, just a few minutes walk to the bus stop.

Great cozy hotel. Awesome staff, wonderful breakfast and a relaxing spa. The details like the welcome board/map, flowers and a chocolate in the room were a nice touch. The free sweets and mini bar, also a nice touch. Great location and our room had view of the Matterhorn. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our entire experience at Hotel Daniela! You’ll find a welcoming lobby & staff, the coziest rooms and most delicious breakfast buffet. The Hotel Daniela was a superb experience in Zermatt. The front desk staff and dining area staff were attentive and most welcoming. The room had a great comfortable bed and the bathroom and closet area and all other areas were perfect. I will most definitely recommend this property to my traveling friends.

This property is in a very convenient location with the Matterhorn Express, many restaurants and shops within walking distance. It’s about 10min walk from the Zermatt train station. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back for our next trip.

Great place, great people and great location

The place was beautiful and comfortable. We were greeted warmly by the front desk when checking in, their breakfast has many choices from fresh fruits to ham and cheese, they even has overnight oats and local made yogurt! The location of the hotel is also not far from the skiing location. We can even see a peek of Matterhorn from our room balcony.

This is a wonderful hotel: great breakfast and a five course exquisite dinner with menu changing daily. Very attentive and helpful staff! Amenities are renovated, with the wellness center being brand new and quite unique. Located in the center of Zermatt. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I chose this place and couldn't have been happier with our selection. The staff (Julekha, Alena, Silvana) were all incredible and super friendly. They were all so genuinely happy and welcoming. These guys made the stay even better and will certainly come back and stay here at hotel Daniela on our next visit. The room was super spacious with a large and clean bathroom with heated tile floors. The ski lockers were great and the breakfast has been by far one of my favorites.

This hotel is by far our favorite, the hotel clerk was amazing too talk to and gave us a bunch of information to go into zermatt and have fun! The spa and steam room and sauna are the best I have ever seen anywhere in the world. What a hidden and golden place this is. Breakfast is home style where you can tell they make it all from scratch and it’s like your momma made it at home, if she was really good at cooking anyway. 10/10 recommend to anyone traveling here to book this hotel.

Mountain Perfection

The warmest welcome, the most beautiful balcony view, and helpful staff. After arriving on a whim and with no plans, we ended up taking the perfect advice from Julika. Train to Gronergrat, hiking, dinner at the Julen ( the best arugula soup!), finding the herd of sheep, and exploring town. Easily located, abundant breakfast options, cozy lobby, smart business branding, comfortable rooms, and a family story of grit and excellence. A stay to be remembered! Thank you!

Great stay

Great place for a quick stay to see Zermattt. Hotel us in excellent condition and well maintained property. Check in could have been better. If you don’t fill in the email behore then you have to do it online on a screen when you arrive. Someone ahead of us had not filled it ou, and neither did we do waiting for the guest ahead then for us to fill it out was a delay. Having a few screens available for use would speed this up. The nice lady at breakfast is wonderful and cheery. Breakfast is very good. Homey experience. The walk to the train station is about 10-15 min. In an area away from most businesses, close enough to walk to. The Mountain View is great of the Matterhorn.
