The shared courtyard area is brimming with tropical plants and makes for a beautiful welcoming space and a delightful place to have breakfast. The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. I felt like part of their family.

The room was clean and nice. Staff were helpful. Breakfast is small so not enough to leave you feeling full. Walking distance to different places to shop and eat. Private bathroom is the best option to get. No elevators, keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage or a lot of luggage. They only do checkin from 2pm to 6pm, so try to arrange a later checkin way in advance if you need to. I would stay here again. We had a nice stay.

In Stone Town, but away from the hustle and bustle

Difficult to find, but once you do find it you'll be pleasantly surprised. Staff are nice and helpful, there's a nice garden-type atmosphere in the common area, and the room was clean and spotless. Breakfast was quite delicious, with a general mix of an omlette, crepes, fruit and/or vegetables; it does change if you stay more than a day. A nice place to stay if you can work remote. No TVs in the rooms for those who care.

A FUIRRRRRRRR ⭐ 1/5 — Réservation non respectée et remboursement refusé J’avais réservé et payé via Expedia 2 chambres Deluxe doubles avec salle de bain privative pour 2 nuits. À notre arrivée à 2h du matin, on nous a attribué une chambre-dortoir de 3 lits et une autre chambre dans un bâtiment séparé, sans salle de bain privative. Après réclamation sur place on m’a promis un remboursement partiel et mes filles ont finalement été installées dans une chambre avec salle de bain privative pour la 2 eme nuit tandis que je suis restée dans la chambre sans salle de bain ( salle de bain commune ) en plus sans eau. Au check-out, le remboursement promis m’a finalement été refusé, sous prétexte que mes filles avaient occupé la chambre Deluxe à 95 $. Or cette chambre correspondait précisément à la chambre que j’avais réservée et déjà payée. Réservation non respectée, communication défaillante et remboursement promis puis refusé. Expérience très décevante, je déconseille cet établissement. AFUIR Et merci l’IA pour les photos des chambres qui ne correspondent absolument pas à la réalité
