Vacations Close To Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor and Museum

There was mold on the ceiling in the bedroom (didn’t notice until checking out in the morning) and only one working elevator, that ironically went up and down all night and you could hear it in the room we were in so if you don’t want noise be sure to ask for a room away from the elevator. There was no coffee at breakfast and when I asked the staff seemed to be insulted that I would request coffee.

Everything was great. From checking to check out. Staff made it easygoing and the room was perfect.

This hotel advertises free parking. I went to the desk at checkout time and asked for special instructions in order to attend my event and then check out of the hotel parking lot. I was assured that my key would continue to work until the event was finished and I would be able to exit the parking lot and maintain the free parking for the day. I thought that was wonderful. But… When I came back from my event and we tried to leave the key did not work. When I contacted the person behind the squat box, I was told that I would pay a fee for the entire time that I was there or I would pay for a lost ticket fee. I was dismayed to find out that parking was not free and it could have cost me between $70 and $129 to just leave the parking facility after being after choosing this hotel because it was claiming free parking. I will not stay here again and if you stay here, please know that you will be charged extra for your parking as well. This was not a good experience.
