My second time at Hotel Central and the staff service and room location is wonderful, breakfast buffet was great and service of the staff at restaurant is excellent!, Tibor from my first visit has been amazing arranging my advance booking on my second visit to my favorite room. Hotel is dated but the location makes up for this. It is directly across from the train station so if you have an early train departure, it works perfectly - especially with breakfast included. There is some noise from the trains in the evening but it didnt impact sleeping. Updating things like blow dryers would go a long way.

We would have given a higher rating if not for the noise. It is close to a train track. If you are not sensitive to noise then this hotel will work for you. It has its advantages like the buffet breakfast which is really great with a lot of selections. This hotel is also centrally located so transportation will not be a problem.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay. The hotel was around 15 to 20 mins walk to city, and was in a safe neighbourhood. Breakfast had a variety, and was comfortable. Will be back again.

A good basic hotel. Room is clean with A/C. Good breakfast and It started earlier than 7:00am. The hotel is across from the train station and in a safe neighborhood. The local tram is right in front of the hotel. We could hear the tram track but wasn’t bothered by it. We walked to see around the city, about 20 minutes from the hotel. We booked it again after returning from Slovenia for a night before leaving Croatia.
This is a basic hotel but the breakfast is more than basic.

Very helpful check-in clerk. I arrived super early and he kindly let me check in. The room was clean, modern and very quiet. The breakfast buffet has excellent choices. There was a variety of cooked options, continental breakfast, cereals, cakes, fruits and breads. The staff in the breakfast area work hard to keep the food replenished. This hotel is opposite the train station, 15 minutes walk to the bus station and all the main attractions are within walking distance. I would stay here again.

Great Stay litterally at Centre of Zagreb

Hotel Central Zagreb Great location, about 5-15 mins from main sights and bus stand, (Train station is right opposite), and all the action. Very clean, cosy room. WiFi bit patchy at times, cool AC, hot water for shower. Easy to contact the team for any issues, advice etc. Good buffet breakfast including variety of breads, cheeses, meats, hot drinks, juices, croissants, fruits, mushrooms, hash browns etc. Oerall, a very happy stay and will recommend to anyone looking. good work team. Great stay

Perfect for our needs! It is conveniently located right across the street from the train station and a short walk to the historic old town square. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

I chose this hotel for one night because of its proximity to the train station and from the pictures on the site. From outside the hotel looks modern but from inside it is a partially renovated old building that it is just ok. The room even after renovation looks old styled but the bathroom is better. Overall I had a good sleep with an average breakfast the next morning and a price definitely not value for money
