Perfect location for a stay in Zagreb located within walking distance of both the city centre and the main bus station. The room was a good size with all the amenities you need. Several unique varieties of breakfast items and extremely courteous breakfast staff were easily the highlight of the stay. Room was quiet, small but adequate. Bed was too soft. 2 electrical sockets in the room were not functioning. Bathroom was not clean upon check in, which was totally unacceptable. The reception staff and other staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is used by small tour groups who expect high standards which the hotel provides in the form of a good quality and wide choice at breakfast and nice clean rooms. It looks like the hotel has been refurbished recently and kept the traditional style. Thus you are able to experience a traditional hotel as it would be when new - bright clean carpets and clean undamaged woodwork/walls. Ideally situated near the railway station, the street may appear a little scruffy, but the area looks very safe. I felt safe throughout Zagreb. I would highly recommend this hotel.
