In the past decade, Taiwan has developed bike paths around much if the island. Many parts, like this in Hualien County, are paths through scenic valleys with beautiful bike-only paths among rice paddies. This is a rest stop along the path at the Antong Old Train Station. We rode the entire East Side of the island on bicycles in four days. Go self guided, or join a bike tour.
