We came for a short stay to celebrate a significant birthday. For more context, there were four of us, all adults. We really enjoyed our stay at Desert Gardens Hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. We ate at both restaurants and enjoyed every meal. Having the pool was essential.
Staff was friendly. Our room was nice but very far away from shops and restaurants. We didn’t have hot water one morning but they fixed it fairly quickly. Also, asking for a late checkout will cost you $50! Overall it was pretty expensive but quiet. Uluru was amazing but you also need a park pass for an extra $38! The resort shuttle was great 👍

Apart from the beautiful location the best asset for the DGH are its fantastic staff. The staff were delightful. I have stayed in many locations all over the world and must say that I have never come across staff as helpful as DGH's- well done!
The food at the DGH was also excellent.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Cheers

My wife and I together with our eldest son Stayed for 2 nights recently, The hotel was expensive for what you get. The room was relatively basic and certainly nowhere near worth the £300 we paid per night, this price didn’t include breakfast either! Add £17 pp…
Beautiful property in a great location fantastic restaurant with staff whoo were so kind to put party of eight with one special needs adult son enjoyed our stay
This place was fantastic. Definitely stay again and happy to recommend to others. Darcey at front reception was amazing to deal with. The pools a great size and the grounds are beautiful. The rooms are a good size and very clean and quiet. Lots of choice for shopping even has a IGA so you can buy stuff you need. Lots to see and do around the grounds as well. It exceeded my expectations of the place . I loved it.
Pricey but it is part of the Ayers Rock Resort set of hotels in Yulara and the Ayers Rocks Resort is where you have to stay to visit Uluru National Park, therefore, it is worth spending the money to visit.
The Dessert Gardens is in a great position with plenty of parking available. It was an easy to walk to the Town Square. The pool was centrally located within the resort. Room was spacious with good air conditioning, eeven when the temperature was high 30s .
Had a lovely dinner in Mangata Bistro. Wonderful Food, Drink & Service. Also had buffet breakfast there as well, with a great variety of foods to fuel for the day
Great rooms and exceptional staff at Desert Gardens. Our stay was relaxing and fun.
Special thanks to Bill the barman, always smiling and happy to serve us.
Can't fault this trip.
