Great customer service! They are very helpful to guests, and it is a unique guesthouse with lots of wood and art. It is right around the corner from the Sun Moon village night market. There are a few resort villages around the lake, but this one is the closest to the cable car that goes to the Aboriginal Culture Park. The cable car is walking distance (and worth the ride), but you can also rent bicycles or electric bicycles very affordably near the hotel and get around easily.
The hotel is comfortable with a good price. Our room was quite small for 4 people but worked. There was an issue with mosquitos or bed bugs as we had lots of bites each morning.
This is an amazing hotel, the owner has a unique artistic style that gave us a great impression, the garden, the lobby and the room are all very well designed, this is not a typical hotel you stayed, when you entered the property, you will feel the difference, I strongly recommend this place when you have a chance to visit Sun Moon Lake.
Great location. Friendly staff. Good food. The whole place if full of artworks and unique decorations, even the outside sitting area. I got some of the most beautiful pictures here. I only have one bone to pick. The so called luxury room only comes with a bath tub, not a shower. If you want to take a shower like I did, well, you'd got water all over the floor like I did.
The room is nice but my room does not have a lake view. Boss is very friendly. The resort light off at around 8pm which I not really used to it. I will prefer common area always light on. Overall it is good stay.
Sun Moon Lake Full House Resort is a lovely individual/quirky - style hotel with lots of beautiful trinkets lying around. Our quadruple room was clean and spacious with a large balcony overlooking the lake. Dinner wasn’t cheap but was good quality. Breakfast was also nice and we could have asked for more if we wanted. The hotel manager was a lovely gentleman who spoke limited english but we were able to get by and he really wanted our stay to be pleasant. The hotel is right by the lake and you can walk to a pier in less than five minutes. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
