Favorite hotel in Taiwan

Lovely hotel just around the corner from Shuishe bus stop. Close to pier, restaurants, 7-11, Family Mart. Elevator, nice shower, plenty of plugs and USB chargers, great breakfast. The complimentary tea in the rooms was AMAZING!! staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke great English.

Cosy stay at sun moon lake

Very lovely stay...again after 9+years! The hosts are very friendly and the early biking tour by the owner is just wonderful, one of our key highlight for sun moon lake stay!

The owner was really friendly and nice. The place had a nice soothing decor. Would definitley stay here again. Location was right by the pier so was really convenient.

the room is huge and bed is bigger than king size we really enjoy and there is a bicycle shop next door which is great Breakfast is not bad just short of western option, the coffee machine is great too.

Don't miss this B&B!

What an amazing place! The Laurel Villa was so convenient, and so beautiful and comfortable. We loved our room, and the breakfast was delicious. The bike tour with Wayne was the high light of our stay. It is obvious he loves Sun moon Lake, and all of the stories were so interestiing. We wished we had booked another nigh.

We loved staying at Laurel Villa and would choose it again. It is decorated beautifully. The lady who checked us in helped us find the Giant bicycle rental place (a very short walk) so we could bike around the lake. She also told us about a vegetarian restaurant on her same street, where we had a wonderful dinner. Our room was small, but very cleverly laid out and decorated, so we felt spoiled! Breakfast the next morning was a typical Taiwanese breakfast with several vegetables and fruit options (plus congee) for us.

Owner of Villa conducted the bike tour which was informative. He was very knowledgeable with great photography skills. Took a lot of excellent shots for the guests. However, breakfast timing should have been extended so that guests taking bike tour could have the breakfast. Bathrooms could be improved with blackout shades or blinds for better privacy. Overall, still a memorable stay.

観覧船が目の前です！立地は素晴らしいです。 日月潭のバスターミナルからも徒歩5分程で到着できます。 2017年にリノベされたそうでモダンで綺麗でした。 またこちらのスタッフさんがなんと言っても素晴らしかったです。 この日は日本語を話せるスタッフが不在との事でしたが、皆さん翻訳機で変換させながら気を配ってくださいました。 天候は雨で楽しみにしていた、サイクリングができずでしたが、ご主人が湖畔をウォーキングに連れてくださり嬉しかったです。 歩きながら歴史、文化を説明して下さり、今まで幾人の旅行者を案内して来たと思いますが、とても親切丁寧で感心しました。 ただ私達が困った事で今後の旅行者の方に伝える事はこの宿泊施設に限らず、日月潭には換金所がありません。周辺ホテルも含めて。 日月潭に入る前にある程度換金してから入る事をお勧めします。 周辺中華店もカードが使える場所が限られてます。
