Lovely very clean room with everything you would expect, helpful staff at check in, great choices at breakfast, english, continental, cereals, fruit all fresh. Parking bit hit miss dependent upon how booked hotel is but usually clears early evening. Very handy for trips into York , handy bus stop right outside with great services.

Brilliant stay! Our room (family room) was lovely and spacious with lots of storage. The swimming pool was a great little pool with a toddler splash pool too, and great showers. Little sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were a nice extra, and the staff at the leisure club were very friendly. The breakfast buffet had lots of options - everything you need. Also loved how easy it was to access York on the buses.

Lovely hotel with character. Breakfast was calm and quiet - just what was needed and filled us up for the day! Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. The lift was very small and made strange noises so not for those who don’t like them! Furniture/ air con etc in rooms does need updating but considering the heat we had an excellent night’s sleep

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub very handy place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Well placed buses in to city regular and reasonable, buy a family day pass cheaper than two returns.
