Excellent location, you can park the car for your stay and walk everywhere. York is such a beautiful place to visit - lots to see and do. We paid for parking at the hotel but if you book direct with the hotel you get free parking! Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel as it has everything you need for a short stay and it is so convenient for all the tourist spots.

The Minster Hotel is a great place to stay in York. The location is ideal and makes it easy to walk into the city centre. The room that I was given was spacious and had a good bathroom. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The breakfasts were well prepared. I would stay again

Hotel staff were brilliant breakfast absolutely spot on ,hotel is situated near the minster so is ideal for exploring the whole centre of York we will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend this hotel for anyone who's looking for a stay in york

Hotel is excellent, our room was well cared for and very comfortable, it had everything we needed. Location was superb, walking distance to all the main visitor stops and shopping and cafes restaurants too. Staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful and polite without being intrusive. This has got to be one of the friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel staff were so lovely and helpful; they always greeted you with a smile and made you feel so welcome. The hotel is ideally placed to visit York with a pleasant 5-10 minute walk from the main sights and river. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting York and would definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying here and it was as good as the first time we stayed, staff are so nice, room was lovely, breakfast was perfect good selection of food and a cooked breakfast as well. Walking distance to center shops and restaurants, parking onsite too
