We actually spent most of our x2 days in a hospital so did not really get a chance to see York. There were a few situations where the staff were excellent, like producing an ice pack with the vacuum machine (on x2 occasions) and helping us with food late at night, a great room and great service

The welcome from the the Receptionist was excellent ensured we had a suitable room to meet our needs. Hotel room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The room was heated individually, controlled in the room. Breakfast was excellent lots of hot and cold choices. Highly recommend especially due to the onsite parking which is a bonus in York. All the staff are very polite and friendly.

Beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The only caveat (which stopped us from awarding 5 stars) was the eco option for room service. If you opt for eco room service this means that the beds aren’t made nor towels changed but you should still get daily complimentary water and toilet rolls. Each day our room was missed and each day we had to go to reception to ask for water. Other than that a great place to stay.
