Our room had a four poster bed butwe didn't think it was that special, and the design of the bathroom could have been better. It was very clean, and the breakfasts were superb.
The host were very welcoming and the room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. There is a sink in the room with a kettle, cups, wine glasses, 2 plates and cutlery if you want to eat in. The restaurant wasn't open on the 2 night we stayed so this was very useful. The breakfast each morning was exceptional with a wide variety and food sourced locally. it was also a great base to explore the area. We will definitely be back.
Couldn’t rate this stay high enough. Excellent place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. The rooms have great views over the open countryside. This was the second stay here for us and both times have been equally good. Just one word of advice. The restaurant has a very good reputation with the local community so be sure to reserve a table early.
My husband and I stayed for one night. I wish it could have been many more! Our room was so comfortable, with great furnishings and attention to detail. We had the surprise of having new born lambs, gambolling in the field outside our door. Breakfast was amazing, all of the ingredients farm fresh and sourced locally. I couldn’t recommend Brickfields Farm enough!
This was undoubtedly the best B&B we’ve stayed at in the UK.
Friendly and welcoming hosts and staff, and food was excellent. Would definitely stay at this location if visiting Yorkshire again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We loved the room which had patio doors leading to the lovely patio area perfect too sit out & relax in the sunshine overlooking the wonderful views with rabbit's & other wildlife in the field's. It was amazing.
A gem of a place. The check-in was really easy and the hosts were warm and knowledgeable. The room is finished to a high standard, beds comfortable and breakfast was lovely/hearty. Also to note, plenty of parking and beautiful surroundings. Can't fault this place
Brickfields Farm is in a wonderful location near Helmsley which is a lovely place for gifts and afternoon tea. Mum and I had a very large room which was spotless and excellently cleaned. It had binoculars and patio doors to the field behind where u could sit outside and look at the wildlife. The host Karen was one of the nicest I have come across and we had a lot in common as we were both married to a Ian and had cats. We felt very wanted and breakfast was superb especially the sausages. We wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again
