This hotel is very convenient since it sits above the train station on the 10th floor. Dining options are good and for a hotel that sits above the train station, it is very quiet. You can’t hear the trains at all. The hotel gives you a card that lists restaurants in the Cubic Plaza that will offer some kind of discount or perk if you dine with them or use their services. Staff is very kind and housekeeping service is spot on. Traveling into Tokyo City takes a while (about 50 minutes to over an hour, depending on where you want to go.) would highly recommend.

As a frequent traveler to Japan, I really like the Shin-Yokohama Associa Hotel. For those who are new to Japan, this is the next bullet train (Shinkansen) station after Tokyo, so a very nice station area, full of restaurants and shopping. The location needs to make sense to your schedule to work- I have a large customer nearby, so very convenient. Very clean room, great view, staff is friendly, and many restaurants all around. Great hotel for business travelers!

To find the hotel, please make sure to go into the station and go to the 10th floor!! Took us a while to figure that one out. Once we got past that, this hotel was amazing! The breakfast was delicious, fresh and available on time. There were coffee, tea, laundry, water and room service amenities. The room was spacious and clean. Being in the same spot as the train station was also very convenient.
