I stayed in a double room and a single room .For the price it is okay-storage for luggage is under the bed.I find the bathroom very small as a 5’8 when sitting my knees nearly touch the door.Overall I found the single room to be slightly more spacier overall.Would stay here again because of the easy check in and out process.Especially the express check out which was very convenient for catching 5am trains to Narita airport.No complications.

I regularly choose APA Hotel for my business travel, and this stay reminded me exactly why. Despite an issue with my initial room, the staff handled it with impeccable service. They investigated immediately, apologized sincerely, and upgraded me to a brand-new room as a result. The level of service was phenomenal and certainly a delight. Here in the West, we can certainly learn from quality Japanese customer service and standards. Thank you!

The hotel is fantastic. The spa/bath is top shelf and included with your room. Rooms are a bit small but well appointed. The checkin was a headache because the Expedia reservation was not readily available. It took staff four tries to finally pull it from the system. The self checkin scans your passport and I suspect the middle name is not shared from Expedia so no match is found. We finally found the reservation by leaving out the middle name via a manual entry.

The check in was very easy the staff at the front desk was nice, the family marts didn’t have very much cooked food and the food was also very slim the sandwiches and stuff a lot of people stayed there both stores should have been fully stocked! Also the massage was great but the gym said we couldn’t use it only for the Japanese and that’s not right we paid our money just like they did! Other then that the hotel was great didn’t have any other complaints oh and the pool wasn’t clean

We'd stayed in this hotel before and on that occasion, we had an amazing view. This time we'd said in the notes that it was our honeymoon, but unlike other hotels, this hotel did not respond to that and our view was just OK this time. They also didn't give us any kind of greeting while other hotels we stayed at did. The lack of human connection is this hotel's biggest weakness - even check in is done with a machine and minimal human contact, so it's not a good example of real Japanese hospitality. Where we did experience great service was in posting an item to Tokyo - that was more the postal delivery company offering exceptional service than the hotel. The facilities are clean, the onsen is a great addition to experience and the location is amazing. Sakuragicho is a beautiful area of Yokohama. The hotel is a fair walk from the JR station, but Bashamichi station is closer and has a lift if you have luggage. But if you walk along the boardwalk, it's a lovely walk - especially at night with the lights. Having a convenience store inside was useful for getting a reasonable breakfast. So overall, the human connection side is weak from the front desk staff - the room cleaning staff are much more friendly. The facilities and location are great.

The property was close to transportation and the activities around Yokohama! About 15 min walk to the Red Brick House or Chinatown! The room was clean and great design where the output of air don’t hit one on the face during sleep is a plus. Break buffet looks great but we didn’t have time to try

I have been staying at this hotel for years on my frequent business trips to Japan. You truly cannot beat the price for what you get here. The rooms are always clean and functional. One feature I love is the AirPlay mirroring on the TV—it makes it incredibly convenient to cast my laptop screen for work or entertainment. The amenities are fantastic, especially the on-site convenience stores. But the best part after a long day is the massive onsen spa. It is the perfect way to relax. A reliable, choice every single time!
