Cute lodge rooms by Yellowstone Lake. Fantastic views over the lake from the Restaurant. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Quieter part of the Park bit close to the lower loop.

The rooms were small but spotlessly clean and housekeeping were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great for exploring Yellowstone. The reception staff were very helpful and the serving staff in the restaurant were good. There are no facilities for cooking in the rooms and the only option on site is the restaurant, the lakeside restaurant was not open. The food was OK but there was little choice and you must book to be sure of a table

We had a great time in Grant Village. The rooms were clean and well maintained for a lodge in the national park! There were a few things we realized when we got to Grant village. Since we booked our stay right at the start of the season, the lodge was not fully up to speed and they made us wait for a couple of hours to get our rooms even though we reached there at 7pm. The staff were considerate and gave us a 20% discount. The seat your self restaurant was not open for the season and unfortunately it was not communicated on the website. We had to get a reservation at the Grant Village Dining room but again the staff was considerate and gave us one at 10pm even though they were closing. All in all there were a few hiccups but the staff made the stay comfortable.

Located in Yellowstone National Park - a huge benefit. But it was very expensive and check in was a nightmare. The room wasn't ready when promised, and we were told to check back in 45 minutes. Check in #2 after 45 minutes - waited 25 minutes in line, and the room still wasn't ready, asked by staff to check back in over an hour. Check in #3 - waited another 25 minutes in line and the room was ready (over 2.5 hours after promised). So I paid a premium price inside a fantastic park and waited around for 2.5 hours of daylight when I could have been visiting geysers, watching wildlife, hiking, or other activities in Yellowstone. VERY disapointed. Had the actual check in time been commiunicated, I would have planned the activities that day vastly differently. I was only in the park for 1.5 days and I wasted 15% of the daylight I had. I should have camped.
