We enjoyed our stay at Canyon Village. This place is all about location. We wanted to tour the upper loop along with Lamar Valley, and this location is perfect. A new comfortable hotel. If you go in with expectations that you’re in the wilderness, the WiFi may not work, the room may be noisy with the windows open, then it’s perfect. Nice visitor center with places to eat.

I appreciated the rustic decor, the quiet surroundings and being able to park reasonably close. The bed was comfortable and the room was of adequate size. The heater worked well on a cold day. The shower was relaxing.

In the park lodges are the best option for seeing any National Park. Location is everything In a park this size. I do miss the high speed internet and the food choices need to be better but in truth that is not why I was there.

We came at the start of the season so staff were still getting to learn how things worked. Despite that normal learning curve, everyone we dealt with were gracious and professional. Location was wonderful and rooms were brand new. Highly recommend

This is a lovely place to stay while in Yellowstone. I love the eco-friendly nature of the lodge. It’s very clean and new feeling. The rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable. The food, which is cafeteria-style was good. There are several options to choose from for each meal offered. The staff is very friendly.

The rooms were average size but very clean. We did have to ask for washcloths and for coffee because we had not been restocked, but we got those items promptly. It was quiet, but the restaurants were a distance to get to, though there was a shuttle if you wanted to wait for it. Compared to what appeared to be similar motels, though they were further away, the cost seemed rather pricey, considering the amenities provided!

The location was great. Staff was friendly but I asked for room refresh services for our 4 days stay on two different occasions and did not get it. I caught a nice young man in the hallway, and he graciously emptied our trash even when he said I was not on his schedule. The deluxe room was nice but small for 4 people with luggage and stuff. Very little storage room for suitcases and hanging clothes for 4 people.
