The motel itself is cheap and cheerful, but the people who own/run it are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was outstanding - one of the few places in Nova Scotia you can see a sunset over the ocean!!

Fantastic place to stay

Beautiful view and about a minuite walk to a perfect beach. Mavillette beach is pure sand about 2 km long. Just wish they had a restaurant

Lovely place to watch the sunsets! The staff are wonderful - very helpful and friendly. They even offered me a blanket for my lap during sunset time. The room had everything we needed and was clean and spacious. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We only stayed one night during our road trip, but we truly wish we had stayed longer! The beach was just a short walk away, and the soothing sounds of the water made the whole experience incredibly calming and refreshing. The two-bedroom cottage was charming, cozy, and had everything we could’ve hoped for. A perfect little getaway — we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

We arrived late, and as we had let the hosts know in advance, they had left the light on and the key in the door, which was much appreciated. The room was simple but clean and well looked after. The sound of the surf through the open window helped me enjoy a wonderful sleep!
