Nice Hotel. Plenty of pools.

Nice hotel. Rooms are nice and spacious. Hotel was clean. Use of the fridge and cooking utensils good if not all inclusive. The extensive pools were great for the kids and the slides were great fun.

Great hotel for a relaxing break

Great apartment by one of their many pools. Ours was very quiet which was great as we weren't allowed in adults area with our 17 year old. Staff work very hard across the hotel and generally very clean. Great location but wouldn't want to stay longer than a week as got very repetitive. Very good for relaxing break.

Good family hotel

Had a lovely stay. Staff and food at hotel are excellent. Could do with improving on the availability of the buffet restaurants and having them open more often. Def requires some upgrades, especially to the pool toilets and lunch at the pool bar. Overall a solid property but could be in danger of sliding if money is spent on upgrading some areas soon

Fantastic place to stay

Tropical Island is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are starting to look a little tired but are kept very clean and have everything you need. They really need to get the issue with the back gate sorted. For those with mobility issues it would be a no go if that is not fixed. It adds another 900 metres to the trek back from beach or bars, not easy.

Very good resort with kind staff and a wide range of amenities, including a grocery shop open late and several restaurants. The town is also accessible with a 10-minute walk. In my case, it was ideal for hiking during the day and enjoying a comfortable rest by the pool at the end of the day. Even though the resort provides a large range of shuttle services, renting a car is recommended as the resort is located on the far south of the island. One area of ​​improvement could be the Wi-Fi, which is quite unstable for those needing it for professional purposes. Also, the area can be somewhat noisy, especially for rooms near the tropical dome. It’s not a major issue, but for those who need a perfectly quiet environment to sleep, it’s something to consider. Nevertheless, despite these last two points, the place is great and highly recommended!

Hotels.com/expedia didn’t send my reservation over to the hotel so when I arrived there was no reservation for me. I had to pay again and sort this mess out myself in the middle of the night on arrival with 2 small children. Thankfully the hotel had a room. I then wasted all of the following morning on the phone still trying to sort it out. Absolutely disgusting.

The pool we looked over was very dirty this was cleaned after I complained. The lift was worn out to the property and nearly threadbare. The area in front of our door was dirty floor ,ceiling and walls. The property was lovely in other blocks and could be lovely if it was cleaned and had some money spent in areas. I did complain and ask to be moved or have a refund this could not be arranged immediately and after day 2 I said I would stay asm it didnt seem worth it then and I had got used to the dirt.

When you are initially booking this property don’t be fooled by the pictures of the apartment interior. and apparent 4star rating. The apartment was very old, and definitely in need of some urgent TLC and a bigger TV - nothing like the pictures. The shower screen is a health and safety hazard along with the furniture and the toilet had a slow leak which had a foul odour coming up throughout our stay. I tried to have us moved straight away but sadly being the Easter bank holiday, there was no availability! I would have been much happier to pay extra just to get out of there. But the kids were so tired that in the end we decided to just get on with it. The exterior of the property and surrounding gardens & swimming pools however are quite lovely and clean. There is enough space and activities for everyone alike to enjoy. Such a shame about the apartment.

No repetiremos. Estuvimos muy incómodos por la limpieza, en especial por los bichos (hormigas). Muy deficitaria la limpieza de la habitación (ni un solo día barrieron ni limpiaron espacios de cocinar que no platos) desagradable también en externo con multitud de suciedad en jardines (gatos…) pero sobre todo el club de niños con más hormigas y descuidado. Es una pena porque el entorno y el modelo para familias es muy acertado.

Tiene muchas piscinas y actividades para los niños. El orden y limpieza deja mucho que desear en algunos casos. Hay cosas que no se recogían y se quedaban duranten mas de 1 día en el mismo lugar. La habitación tenia humedades en la pared

Good hotel for families

We have stayed here twice now and found it ok both times first was all inclusive the food is good feels a bit canteen like in the restaurants the pools are good both smaller ones and the big pool. Entertainment was good by the pool with the big mat got lots of engagement maybe they should do that daily
