The staff were excellent. The room was spotless. We had a heavy downpour on or first night which caused a slight issue with our room. The following morning I reported this to reception and she told me she would send up a maintenance man to have a look. Within 15 mins the man arrived and said we will change your room. He left and five mins later reception rang to say they were changing our room.I have to give the staff at reception 10/10 for such a prompt response. caused a slight issue in the room. We went in January for some winter sun, we were very much looking forward to our first family holiday with our 10 month old, relaxing by the pool. It was really disappointing and upsetting that we could not use the pool due to the extremely cold water temperature, I feel this is something that should be made clear to potential customers when they are booking, especially regarding the temperature of the baby pool. The whole point in our hotel selection was that we would have a pool to play and relax in. It was also incredibly disappointing and frustrating that despite asking multiple times at reception, there was no bar service at either the pool bar or the lobby bar, even though we "rang the bell for attention" and waited for 20 minutes on multiple occasions. Whenever this was mentioned to reception they just said "try again". We also picked a hotel based on the fact that we would be able to relax on the grounds with the baby, and use the bar for refreshments. Very upset that we spent over £1200 on a hotel and could not use the pool or bar at any point. The vegetarian meal options were also terrible e.g. mashed aubergine wrapped in courgette and called "ravioli". The meat options all came with something to accompany the meat e.g. potatoes and sauces, and looked very appetising, but the vegetarian option (1 per day) did not. The good points included the excellent restaurant staff who were so friendly and so helpful, they worked really hard during each dinner service!

Très mauvaise expérience dans cet hôtel. À notre arrivée, la chambre n’était pas propre. Nous avons demandé un nouveau passage de la femme de ménage, mais malgré cela, le nettoyage restait insuffisant : toilettes sales, sol mal nettoyé, etc. Ne parlons pas des cafards qui font leur vie… Le ménage n’est effectué qu’un jour sur deux, ce qui est étonnant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Le restaurant de l’hôtel était également très décevant, les repas étaient immangeables. Nous y avons séjourné une semaine et le petit-déjeuner était toujours identique, avec très peu de variété. De plus, une serveuse du petit-déjeuner (la blonde) n’était pas aimable du tout. Concernant l’hygiène, cela laisse aussi à désirer : elle utilisait le même torchon pour nettoyer le sol puis les tables entre les clients. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel. Les photos présentes sur Expedia ne correspondent pas à la réalité actuelle. Enfin, contrairement à ce qui est annoncé, il n’y a pas d’aire de jeux pour les enfants.

Lovely room, hotel facilities currently reduced.

The rating of 4 takes into account the current global situation, under different circumstances this would be a lot lower. I think people considering this hotel need to know the available facilities so they can decide whether it's value for money. The rooms are really good, very private terraces, adequate kitchens, nice bathrooms with a good shower and the maids kept it really clean. The aircon was also a massive plus in the very high temperatures whilst we were there. The grounds are nice, kept immaculate by the gardeners and cleaners, indeed the whole place was very clean. The pool was nice, smaller than expected and it had no shade at all. We went half board, however we already planned to eat out often in the evening, the website advised we could have lunch instead of dinner with 24hrs notice, but this proved difficult due to the limited hours for reception. The reception wasn't even open when we arrived. The jacuzzi at the pool was drained and not in operation for our entire stay, as were the lovely fountains in the hotel pictures. The SPA and gym are currently closed. The pool bar is only open 7pm till 10pm. Choices for evening meal reduced from 5 options to 2, plus a limited buffet (2 pizzas, 1 pasta and chicken nuggets plus salad and side options ). Drinks expensive, limited options on all inclusive, see price list in photos. We would go again, treating it as a villa rather than half board.

Établissement calme, propre, avec du personnel très attentionné et très sympathique. Merci plus particulièrement à Valentin pour la Sangria spéciale au bar, et Hicham pour les Mojitos. Sans oublier au restaurant Mohamed, David, Lidia, Arthuro, Roberto, Javier. Super restauration, sans gaspillage, avec de belles assiettes aux menus du soir. Il faut prendre en considération que l’hôtel est distant de la plage et du centre ville. La voiture est indispensable hormis si la piscine vous suffit.

Accueil, service, gentillesse du personnel. En famille, en demi-pension, nous avons profité d'un séjour de grande qualité dans cet hôtel de taille intermédiaire (46 logements) avec des logements de grande qualité (terrasse avec vue mer, 2 salles de bains, 2 chambres, cuisine) et une qualité de repas bien au dessus de la moyenne (service à table pour le plat principal) et supérieure à certains hôtels 5 étoiles de Lanzarote qui pratiquent les buffets à volonté pour nos chers voisins britanniques.

Beautiful bungalow village, but not perfect

This is a great bungalow with amazing facilities. It was a two bedroom with master having an ensuite and also a door to the beautiful balcony. It’s what you would typically expect from a property of this price and star rating, however, what I was not expecting was the poor maintainance at this property. There isn’t much to complain about so please don’t be put of, just aware. Negatives- Firstly the “ premium WiFi” that they talk about is really just an unsecured slow network that I found a joke. It was so inconsistent and the fact that it didn’t have a password was worrying. Also the sink in the bathroom had a weird pressure where the water would not come out straight away, and not turn off straight away either. The “double bed” is just two single beds put together, which isn’t the problem. It’s thenfact that they were on top of a frame that was clearly smaller than the size of the mattresses making it very unstable when sitting on th edge of the bed. The tv’s had poor signal, not that we would watch much of it since we had an iPad with movies.. Positives+ The place is a wonderful village, with reception open 24/7. The staff here are extremely helpful, attentive and wonderful. We got the half board and the breakfast options blew us away, they have the best I’ve ever been to. Also mentioning about food, the dinner here is great. It’s very unusual in the sense of that it’s a buffet, but you can order a main meal (usually 5 options).

A comfortable and relaxing place

Our second visit as we stayed here two years ago and we weren't disappointed. Lovely quiet location with great apartments and a nice pool area. The bungalow apartment is very spacious and well equipped with good air-con. The food in the restaurant was good although when busy the service could be a bit slow but the staff are always helpful and friendly which creates a relaxing atmosphere. We hired a car to male the most of Lanzarote and were able to head off for a few days out. Evenings a bit dull around the bar so worth a walk down to the village. Regular bus to Playa Blanca if you don;t have a car. Overall I'd recommend this place for families.

Heerlijke bungalow

Heerlijke bungalow met prima voorzieningen (woonkamer met keuken, 2 badkamers, 2 slaapkamers en zeer ruim terras). Interieur en staat van appartement is misschien wat “outdated” maar alles is heel schoon en werkt prima. Ook leuke welkomscadeautjes (o.a. kookboek, koffiebeker, speelsetje voor kindje). Onderdeel van een kleinschalig complex (48 bungalows) met de nodige faciliteiten. Privé terras is heerlijk ruim met veel privacy, zeer rustig en met fantastisch uitzicht. Ook whirlpool zeer fijn (superior)!! Al het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Ontbijtbuffet is lekker en uitgebreid. Diner is ook een buffet + een hoofdgerecht a la cart wat elke avond wisselt (keuze vlees, vis of vega). Als je gaat voor rust en ontspanning is deze locatie perfect. Want in directe omgeving is er niet veel te beleven behalve een kleine “centro commercial” met supermarkt, paar winkeltjes, bar en restaurant. Playa Blanca is een goede wandeling; een auto is wel aan te raden. Parkeren bij complex is geen probleem. Voor ons, gezin met baby, was dit een perfecte accomodatie.

Nice hotel in a quite location

Hotel situated in a quite area of Playa Blanca that consists of two bedroom bungalows. The bungalows are a reasonable size reasonable well furnished with kitchenette lounge patio etc. There are some maintenance issue that need attention but nothing that detracted from our stay. The hotel has all the normal facilities and services although service at the pool bar can be very slow. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves a good choice of food there is normally something for everyone. The hotel is reasonable priced and is good value for money although the bar prices are a little high. One thing to mention is there are a number of sets of stairs around the complex and in some cases ramps as an alternative.
