Great resort lots of activities, if you like snorkeling go to the beach you’ll most likely se sea turtles. Staff is great, very clean property staff makes it easy to navigate and get where ever you’re trying to go will definitely be back.

The property was amazing and well kept. The restaurants were good some more than others. The staff was very pleasant and very attentive. Being able to go to all the properties was a great treat! If I had to give a negative it would be the beds were not too comfortable.

We loved our junior suite! Lots of room for our family of four and plenty of storage space to put away our clothes. We enjoyed the nightly shows and my twin 7 year old boys loved the pools! We would return to this hotel!

The place was great pool and beach is amazing room was not cleaned for 3 days due to the fact the door sign was lost we had to call three times for them to understand the issue and come clean.. staff had some attitude issues when we were booking our dinners restaurants

It's our 3rd time there. Place is always amazing. We keep going back, because we always try to find somewhere to go and look all over the place and all over the Caribbean and Costa Rica and all of that stuff, and we always end up coming back to the Barcelo. The surrounding area has never-ending awesome things to do, the beach is unbeatable, and they have their own reef for snorkeling that's a few miles long. We stay at the Palace with the premium level, but the little bit extra you pay for the premium level is worth it a hundred times over
