My son and I just got back. Had the most amazing time ever. If you are going, make sure you get your reservations for the al acarte restaurants. Buffet food was subpar. The Mexican restaurant was outstanding. (Try to get Gustavo and Josue as servers, they are amazing!!) The Italian restaurant was outstanding ( ask for Santos Pech, outstanding!!)

Buffet food was disappointing every time. Japanese and Mexican restaurants were both very good. Seems like there was a lot to do, but almost all of it costs extra. The hotel activities were posted, but with no location, so we were in able to participate. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Overall I’d say 6/10

Check in was easy. Specialty restaurant reservations were complicated and took us about 30 mins to get it all sorted out for 2 families. Rooms on Caba building were dated but clean. Food at the buffet was underwhelming, specialty restaurants were hit or miss depending on what you order. Pools were good, plenty of chairs/cabanas to go around. Beach was ok, on some days the water was more brown than blue. Excursion team is good if you don't care about price, if you do beware of hidden costs revealed just before you pay. Staff friendliness is hit or miss, mostly rude or inattentive. Buffet restaurant clothing policy is ridiculously strict, so be prepared to be fully dressed to grab a quick snack, even by the pool. Dinner time in a bathing suit & cover up? Nope. There are a lot of activities, and lots to see but I would not return.

Over all it was an okay hotel to stay, we had premium and I felt we weren’t accommodate. Arrived Saturday morning, we were early so no big deal we had to wait till our room was ready but when check in came around our room still wasn’t ready, was told it would be about hour. After traveling all day and waiting in a hot outdoors lobby we were ready to be in our room. Once room was ready & made our way to the room to be told we would have to back to lobby to identify our luggage because “they were too busy and had too many luggage at the time” that was a slap in the face. Food was a hit or miss but over all good. I did like how family friendly it is but would highly suggest that the theater room be enclosed with AC. It’s just too hot in there to enjoy any of the performance. We were a family of 28 total with elderly so having them walk from point A to B was a challenge, again highly suggest maybe installing benches throughout the long walk areas for them to rest. We all stayed 6 night 7 days. Also, we kept losing power through the night which made the AC turn off so that made our room warm, our family members that we not in premium stated it happened to them as well in their rooms.

First of all the hotel is an hour away from the airport. I did pay for the private transportation and it was well worth it. The resort itself is truly beautiful. On the first, night my mini fridge wouldnt cool and the room ac was not working, I called down and someone came right up to check but they said it would kick on and it never did. They did move me to another room the next day but then I saw someone a couple of days later complaining about the AC in the original room. On the first night maintenance knocked while bulbs on hand then said never mind wrong room but they also knocked on my kids door and when they didnt open they just walked right in then excused themselves when they saw them in there. I thought that was weird but it did not happen again so I let it go. The beach was a BIG let down, there was just seaweed? idk, all around the edge to get in you had to walk over it and it smelled very bad and was full of flies. The pool is big with a swim up bar and plenty of seats and hammocks for everyone. The food was ok, the only specialty restaurant that impressed us was Tokyo. The buffet food was actually always on point, in all buffets except the Captain Morgan one. Overall, i would recommend it, its a good resort and staff is friendly
