The desk staff was terribly impolite and unwilling to provide minimal assistance or accommodation. Check-in was at 3:00 pm. We arrived at 2:50 p.m., and the desk clerk insisted that we could not access our room until 3 p.m. I pleaded that we were exhausted from traveling all day. However, the check-in attendant said we should wait in the lobby until the room was "freed up" at 3 p.m. She refused to explain why we could not check in 10 minutes early. I learned that the room had been unoccupied and ready for use hours earlier. She and the rest of the staff were dour and never greeted us or asked if we were comfortable. The hotel is in dire need of physical updates.
