“Enjoyed walking around some hills and by the river. Visited the Castle. The breakfast was very good. I was able to park my car every evening.”

“On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. We couldn’t boil kettle Mon morning as electric went off...

“The B&B was amazing We stayed in the annexe which was like home from home Extremely well equipped and furnished to a very very high standard with everything and more than you could hope for The breakfast was very tasty 5 stars and more for the Hill If you are visiting the high force waterfalls like we did I would highly encourage and recommend that you stay at the Hill B&B ”

“Good value for money. A room on 1st floor of a small terraced block of houses. Advert should be clearer that it is a shared bathroom (with one other room) and no sink in the room. A toaster, microwave, and kitchenware are provided but have to do your washing up in the bathroom sink and no teatowel provided. Comfortable bed and HUGE TV. Not as clean as could be e.g. food stains on and around the bin, toaster was quite grimy + corners of the room and staircase had visible dust. Prompt contact...

“Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided.”
