I have been staying at the Jinling Hotel for at least 15 years ever since it used to be a Sheraton.But,for the past year there seem to be a new ownership and the Hotel is being run as a local hotel serving domestic Chinese tours so the clientele has changed and also the services. Even the breakfast that used to be great has gone down in quality and much less western style. I think this time will be my last.

The food at breakfast which is the only meal i have eaten there is more geared towards Chinese clientele. I could not even get an omelette because the person (cook) behind the counter did not know what it was.

Convenient location

Location is convenient. We had reservation for two adults but free breakfast only covered one person. However, the breakfast buffet was good. Our room was noisy since it’s right above the main roads.

Great Stay

Location is within walking distance to shopping malls and Wuxi railway station. Nice hotel with clean rooms, large bathroom and comfy bed, however rooms and walkway do smell of cigarette smoke.

日本人には好感のあるホテルかも

ホテル内はキレイで客室も同様で広さも十分でした。 バスタブ・ウォシュレット完備は有難く、アメニティ一式にバスソルト迄あり、助かりました。 清掃に関してはお国柄期待していませんでしたが、満足できました。 ホテルの従業員も特に笑顔はないですが、仏頂面される事もなく、不愉快になる様な事は1度もなかったです。 カフェがなく、バーの様なところでお茶しましたが、男性従業員は良い対応でしたが、お茶を飲める雰囲気でなく、コーヒーや紅茶を持参して部屋で飲めば良かったと思いました。 ホテルに隣接されていたカルフールは閉店されていましたが、徒歩圏内に便利店や地元の方ご用達であろう飲食店や果物屋があり、困る事はなかったです。

快適に過ごせるホテル

1/７〜1/9の2泊、スーペリアルームを夫婦で利用しました。 無錫の駅から徒歩15分弱、バスだと1駅でした。 ホテルは綺麗で客室もバスタブ、ウォシュレットが付いており、広くて快適でした。 アメニティも一通り揃い、バスソルトが置いてあったので嬉しかったです。 朝食は種類が多いものの、お味はまずまずで2日目は点心類の湯煎がされておらず、冷たい点心が幾つものセイロに並んでいました。 1日目はきちんと湯煎されていて良かっただけに、その点だけが残念です。

無錫駅まで徒歩５分程度、広くて快適な部屋。コストパフォーマンスが大変良い。

部屋の快適さは申し分ない。一つだけ気になったのは、窓の接合が悪くてやや隙間があり、外の音や外の空気が入っているように感じることである。ただし、これは中国の建物全般に言えることで、このホテルに限ったことではない。その他の点は完璧である。無錫駅までの距離は問題ないが、行くまでには非常に大きな通りを2つわたる必要があり、歩きにくい。スーツケースを持っての移動は少し大変である。

Kondome auf dem Nachttisch müssen nicht sein

Mit etwas Glück trifft man auf Personal,das gut Englisch spricht. Service einwandfrei. Frühstück spitze. Einziger Minuspunkt: auf dem Nachttisch stehen Kondome. Das finde ich befremdlich.

Third stay here and it is good value but stayed on the ninth floor this time on the side of the hotel and very noisy. Did not ask to move so my fault but only a short stay. A room at the back would be a tip if you are a light sleeper.

朝食が無料で種類も多く美味しかったです。　　　個人差もあると思いますがホテルは駅から大きなスーツケースを持っても歩ける範囲内ですね！　　個人旅行で4泊しましたが、バスタブがついててリラックスできました。　ベルボーイに簡単な日本語がわかるスタッフが居ました。　フロントは中豪語、英語ですね！　　部屋でwifiが使えましたが繋がりにくく困りました。　　有線のinternetはありましたが、IDがないとLoginできず！　フロントにお願いしてもwifi,wifiばかりで相手にしてもらえませんでした。

Great location, comfortable room

Great location, walking distance to Wuxi railway station. Surrounding environment is another plus point as it is next to a shopping mall and a river that reminds you of the ancient days in China. Room is really spacious and comfortable.
