Good Centrally Located Hotel

Good hotel centrally located in Wuppertal, 5 minute from the city centre, also 2 minute walk from Kluse station on the Schweberbahn (worth a ride for the sheer strangeness of it!) Check in was straight forward. The reception is not manned overnight - I was clumsy and lost my key card when reception was closed. However, a guest managed to resolve my issue by calling the contact centre and get me a temporary card. Breakfast has a decent range of items, including cheese, meats and pancakes. Room was a good size with decent air conditioning and the option of opening the window if I so wished. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels provided: their policy is for guests to request additional linen rather than replace daily - very eco friendly. The only thing I could pick up on was a lack of coffee making facilities in the room. That aside, very satisfied customer here. I stayed 5 nights at around €65/night which feels like great value! Would stay again.

Sehr unfair dass man nicht vorher informiert wird,dass die Klimaanlage im ganzen hotel seit längerer Zeit defekt ist. Nicht schön . Dann sollte man es von der Beschreibung rausnemehen denke ich.

Leider hatten wir in unserem Zimmer nur kaltes Wasser. Sowohl am Waschbecken als auch in der Dusche. Uns wurde nach dem Bescheid geben zwar ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, aber da wir nur 1 Nacht da waren und auch schon geduscht hatten, war der Umzug nicht von Nöten. Der Herr am Empfang meinte, er würde sich darum kümmern...

Recht zentral gelegen, man ist zu Fuß sehr schnell am HBF und in der Innenstadt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich aber das freundliche und sehr zuvorkommende Personal. Ich habe mich bestens betreut gefühlt.

Übermittelter Code funktionierte zwar beim Zimmer, aber nicht beim Hoteleingang, so standen wir nach 23 Uhr vor verschlossener Tür und kamen nur ins Hotel, weil ein weiterer Gast raus zum Rauchen ging. Den Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption schien das am nächsten Morgen nicht zu interessieren. Von anderen Gästen hörten wir dies sei wohl schon ein bekanntes Problem. Ist mir unbegreiflich… Das Frühstück war um 9:00h vielleicht noch zu 1/3 vorhanden. Die Brötchenreste waren alt und hart… Eines der Betten war dreckig. Die Dusche voller Haare. Der Duschstrahl ein Witz und das Housekeeping hat einen morgens um 8:00h wachgehämmert. Obwohl erst um 11 Uhr ausgecheckt werden musste, klopften sie noch drei weitere Male. Ganz ehrlich… nie wieder dieses Hotel

In unserem Zimmer war die Elektrik so dermaßen falsch geklemmt, sodass wir erst ermitteln mussten, das der TV,der sowieso nicht programmiert war) Strom hatte, wenn das BadLicht an ist, oder die Steckdose am linken Bett erst Strom m hatte, wenn das Nachttisch licht am rechten Bett an geschaltet ist 😳🙄
