Lovely little spot

Cosy, comfortable night stay!

We loved our stay at Findon Rest, cute cosy room with everything we needed for a comfortable night, I don’t understand some of the reviews! This place is great value for money! Clean, cosy and a great location! I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back again! The bed was so comfy I struggled to get out of it!

It is a great place lovely village and eating hous

Stayed here in summer and was amazing rooms are great but at this time of year the heating system needs looking at x we got instructions from owners but after having been told could alter temperature it was only 19 and a smal heater for room and kept tripping back to 16 so spent time changing temp all the time

The room was larger than we thought but the condition of the room was not good. Handles were missing off cupboard doors, light bulb not working in bathroom, a wheel missing off a unit so was balanced on a piece of wood and generally room needed to be touched up in places. The information received when booking about receiving the code to access the room was not correct and listing needed updated and then on arrival the instructions were not correct either due to work that had been done on the hallway meaning the lock boxes were not there. Although we had issues/questions when I did email to make enquiries these were answered promptly and Clive was very helpful which was good.

Easy to park on the road outside. In room 11, the shower room door had handles but no latch or lock, so the door could be closed but would swing open by a couple of inches. Okay to bed down for one night.

Needs work

We were disappointed with our stay here. The sofa bed took up most of the room and it was difficult to walk around if the bathroom door was open...which it was as it didn't fit properly. There were cobwebs everywhere, the toilet was dirty, the dressing table drawer was hanging off, the window handles were loose so took two of us to close. The bed linen and towels were clean. The area was lovely.
