The reception staff were really great, the two gentlemen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what makes a long journey worth it, when you walk into a reception area and met with a smile and asked how can they help? Never stayed at this Days Inn before, but have already recommended it to friends and family.

Very pleasant one night stay, we arrived on a very warm sunny day. We got to our room and found the window open and an electric fan, so we had a cool and very comfortable night. Parking was free and very easy and reception was welcoming. Our only grip would be that you have to go next door, to the services to source your breakfast.

Good value, but it's true that you "get what you pay for". The room was extremely hot so we weren't able to get sleep, and the noises from the motorway were quite loud- Although that can't really be helped. The staff member we spoke to at check-in was very helpful. Beds were made and clean (although not very comfortable, but that could be a preference thing). One duvet was stained, but that was only noticeable when I stripped the bed at the end of the stay to help housekeeping. Overall, I think it's not a bad hotel for the price, but would advise to take your own fans in the summer.
