“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here overall, but the experience was bookended by two entirely different worlds. Check-in on the afternoon of 18 August was an absolute breeze—the receptionist who assisted me was a proper professional, welcoming and efficient, setting a cracking first impression. “Loved this country house hotel. Very charming and close proximity to Chester and its zoo. Only 30 mins away from Manchester Airport so would definitely consider staying here if flying from there. Hotel is set in beautiful grounds. Has its own restaurant but we didn’t eat here as some lovely local places to sample. Staff were very helpful and our room was comfortable and cosy.
