Very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed. As the name suggests, there’s no window in the Sun Pipe rooms but otherwise it was large with a good bathroom, air con and internet.

Lovely location , lovely food . Poor service in restaurant , possibly not enough staff. Indoor pool freezing 26/27 outdoor pool only warm if sun remains out with no wind . Slight warm jets go into it on a timer . Apparently both pools are better heated in 6 weeks summer hols.

Lovely stay, the weather was good, beautiful views, great food, friendly staff, very clean. Walk up to Mortehoe is very steep but worth it for a pint in the pub.

A first class Stay in one of North Devon's Finest

amazing hotel, room ready early for check in, room was lovely great sea view. The food at the restaurant was amazing as good as any Michelin starred establishment. Service was excellent. The walk down to the beach the next morning was awesome. Really first class all the way would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic hotel- 10/10, would visiy again

The hotel is beautiful, sat overlooking the water. The dining room offers glorious views, and the dinner and breakfast were very good. The service was amazing, effective and friendly, from the receptionist to the restaurant staff. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The indoor swimming pool was very nice for a morning dip- good water temperature. I wholeheartedly recommend this stunning hotel.

Fabulous hotel & stunning views.

Fabulous hotel with the most amazing sea views. The staff are super friendly, helpful & respectful. We have stayed in the supine room previous & this time at the back of the hotel as they are the cheaper rooms. Very comfortable nevertheless. We made the most of the sun terrace as it was beautiful weather. The breakfast is lovely as are the views from the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel in an amazing location.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We reserved a Deluxe Double Sea View Room with Balcony (room 5) and were not disappointed. The bed was very comfortable, the balcony a great size (large enough for two loungers and two chairs0 and the view was stunning. It was a bit overcast when we arrived so we made use of the excellent indoor pool and jacuzzi (we had it all to ourselves). You can get to the beach directly from the hotel garden and it's a very quiet beach with lovely sand and decent surf. The hotel staff were very attentive and welcoming and the food (dinner and breakfast) was very good. All in all, a really enjoyable stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending it based on our experience.

Very nice, pricey and avoid ROOM 17.

We had a relaxing and pleasant stay at this hotel. The views are spectacular but you pay for this. Service is good and the food is excellent but again you pay for that. We settled for a non sea view room, try and avoid these, especially room 17, it has the kitchen extractor vent running the full length of the outside wall of the room vertically. The noise is like a jet engine and starts at 0600 when the kitchens begin work and ends at just past 2200, so ear plugs needed . Also if you open the windows your room fills with the smell of seared meat or vegetables being cooked, not all that attractive really. This did put a damper on a lovely stay, plus at nearly £250 per night for the most basic room in the hotel, I think you shouldn’t have to put up with a Boeing 737 engine strapped to the wall and operating at full throttle.

We enjoyed meeting all Staff and found everyone really helpful and friendly. Lovely room, very comfortable. Nice lounge areas too and no dogs. The only thing we found challenging was that the menu for the evening meals didn't change. After two nights, we were lucky that a BBQ had been organised so we could order that for a change. Unfortunately, the BBQ finished at 5pm which was rather early for an evening meal.
