Really lovely welcome. Great room with a big bed and everything you need. Cozy pub and restaurant area with excellent service. Nothing to knock here, was perfect.

Very good country style pub / hotel.

Really friendly property with shally style rooms , very clean and tidy, bed was very comfortable and a big 40 inch TV on the wall with lots of free movies all the usual stuff toiletries wise and the breakfast was excellent...definitely will be back..

Spacious and comfortable accommodation

We were welcomed as soon as we drove into the car park. The accommodation is spacious with a separate lounge and bedroom with comfortable bed and heat pumps in both rooms. The decor is quirky with the added touch of an espresso coffee machine. We would stay again.

Really brilliant stay ! We stayed for one night and highly recommend staying here… in fact I’ve already recommended it to people!! From the moment we walked in truly positive experience… Room was very spacious very large bed that was incredibly comfortable l, great choice of breakfast - will definitely return !

David has done a fantastic job. The accommodation was first class, beautifully appointed rooms. The ambience of the bar and dining for dinner was wonderful after a day of travelling. And a hearty English breakfast the next day had us all set for another day of English countryside touring for a couple of Aussies.

Must be for Woodhall Spa!

Second time stay here and absolutely fantastic experience- unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to refurbishment but Just Eat came to the rescue! Rooms are top class great decor and furnishings with huge deep bath -fabulous! Lovely nights sleep no noise whatsoever and an early cuppa sat watching the young deer playing outside is such a lovely start to the day! Breakfast super quality and lovely choice - everything about my stay was exceptional.

Great for couples - not for business stays

OK. So I had no idea that this hotel was a winner of Channel 4’s “Four in a Bed”. Until I got there but I can understand why it did. The decor is quirky without being irritating and the room was really comfortable. I should probably say that I was travelling for business and this hotel wasn’t ideal for that (there was no desk) but I would definitely return with my wife. I would have liked a head’s up that the restaurant wasn’t going to be open the evening that I stayed and sadly I had to leave early before breakfast the following morning. I can’t fault the hosts however for their service and help after I’d left
