“The history and outside appearance of the inn was impressive, unfortunatley the rooms definately did not have the wow factor for me. The Oundle suite bathroom was very tired in terms of furniture and building. The shower looked filthy and I didnt want to use it. “Room was comfy, nicely furnished. Tea and coffee and biscuits were top quality. Bathroom clean, everything clean really. But having paid a relatively premium price for bed and breakfast, only to find a limited smaller choice included (with every extra costing more) we found it disappointing. “The room smelled musty and all night long there was banging and noise as we were on the ground floor right next to reception area and entrance. Didnt notice how bad until we went to bed. At 211:90 pm, 1:00 am went to front desk to complain or change room but no one there. It was a terrible experience. Will not stay there again - it made it worse that we drove for 5 hours to get there to attend a funeral in the morning.”
