Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber sehr sauber, gute Matratze, ruhig gelegen. Bad auch etwas klein, aber sehr sauber. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend. Excellentes Essen, reichlich Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Das Personal ist im Grunde freundlich, man hat aber den Eindruck, dass sie nicht unbedingt gerne dort arbeiten.

Ok for a pit stop.

The rooms on the second floor are certainly not as nice as the ones pictured on the website but for me this was a seven hour sleep stop during a long drive. It was comfortable enough and clean although rather dated. I was advised breakfast would not be available in the morning but left early anyway.

Initial Disappointment ended in a Good Stay

Initiall 3 days I had a problem with No WiFi , I needed it for Business . Hotel.com talked to them They sorted the WiFi , all was well

Hyggeligt og prisvenligt.

Ikke noget prangende luksushotel, men meget hyggeligt og rigtig godt til prisen. Helt fantastisk schnitzel og sauerkraut. De har et decideret schnitzel menukort. Hyggelig atmosfære og der var hvad det skulle være.

Familiäres, bürgerliches, "süßes" Hotel

Die Annehmlichkeiten des Ortes wie das kleine, liebevoll erhaltene Lichtspielhaus, waren allesamt ohne Auto zu erreichen. kostenloser Parkplatz nahebei. Das was manche Kommentatoren als"muffig" oder"mürrisch" angeben rührt eher von oberflächlicher Betrachtung. Die Gastgeber sind Norddeutsche, die kriechen einem Gast typischerweise nicht dauernd unterwürfig hinterher. Und bei dem geforderten Preis kann man ein Haus nicht so erhalten wie mit 100€ aufwärts. Frühstück war auch fein, alles da, was man so erwartet. Wir werden uns wieder um ein Zimmer dort bemühen, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Vielen Dank von Breidenbachs 😊

You never know what you get

The room was very hot, I asked for a fan, they did not have one. Breakfast was a standardized European breakfast, not bad, but also not that great. I found it expensive. All in all I felt I overpaid for this place.

Value for money, but rather not return.

Room was clean but needs updating. Wifi seemed very slow. Good value for the money. Had a hard time finding someplace nearby open for dinner on a slow Sunday night. Breakfast was very good though.

Good, clean hotel in a charming little town

There is no elevator and the staff does not speak English, which was not a problem for us but might be for others. The restaurant, which we liked on another stay, was closed for the cattle market, but a nice breakfast was available. Parking is easy on the street and the place is very quiet. About a half hour from Kassel on nice roads.

Great location, service and facilities

We visited there 3 people and had a great time. The service people were extremely friendly, had a really nice breakfast and the view from the rooms is just amazing! I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to experience "real" Germany to go there.
