Convenient Stay near Metz

This was a functional stay to break a journey from Calais to Germany. From the outside it looks really dated but we were given a warm welcome by reception. The room itself was a bit sparse and the curtains had holes so I think the hotel needs a facelift inside and out. However the staff were great and we enjoyed a nice breakfast.

Excellent stay

The staff was very nice. The beds were so comfortable that we both slept late the next day! The soaking tub is a nice feature after travelling. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very dated, it looked better in the front but at the back, it looked abandoned and not maintained. The room is very small, basic and not very clean. The supposed garden was not maintained and the pavement was uneven with loose slabs which can be dangerous. The breakfast was chaotic with few choices.

Cold hotel in all matters

The public area was very cold, the staff was not nice and did not speak English. The room was so cold that we needed to sleep dressed. Overall, we would'n go back there.

2nd stay of this holiday, very disappointed regarding breakfast prior to 9.am with not enough selection of very limited items. Staff were not available to ask for replenishing the hot and cold items as they were smoking.
