“Room, small, 2 twins beds stuck against walls, very dated, no restaurant even though it says it has, very dull and not inviting ”

“Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion.”

“A lovely b and b run by a very interesting couple. Nothing was too much trouble. Supplied lots of info and history on the surrounding area. An amazing garden built on a 45 degree slope.”

“I stayed for two nights at the end of may and the first thing I liked was easy access well sign posted parking. The house itself is directly opposite the old castle with its impressive mote complete with moorhens and ducks with their baby ducklings. The house itself is a curious mix of antique and modern but is fascinating to look at.
