“Had a nice stay at The Evenlode. Enjoyed the food. The room had everything we needed. Power sockets in good places, always important. Check in was easy, as was check out. Staff were friendly. A little concerned that the shower seemed to have two bottle of hand wash rather than shampoo and body wash. Overall a good stay. ”

“Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars. Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day. Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue.. Lovely lunch eaten after checking out. Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required. The place is cared for. Would go...
