The Best Western is about what I expected as far as the condition. It was a bit more dated in some areas that could be easily fixed, like the shower curtain. The beds were comfortable and it was relatively clean, but my room had a very heavy smell of smoke and only one wash cloth. Overall- about what I expected for the price.

Called before hand and confirmed we were coming but it would be a late check in. The woman at the desk said that was fine…when we arrived we were made aware that we had been marked as a no show and our room was sold. They had no extra rooms nor did surrounding hotels so we had to travel even further for somewhere to stay. Definitely not a good experience especially when we booked this hotel days in advance.

Would stay again!

There was a lot of remodeling going on but I was in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was very nice, clean no issues at all. Plus there is a great restaurant on site Renos excellent!

Definitely a bit run down but the room was clean and bed was confortable. Biggest complaint would be that our room had a Mcdonalds right outside our window and since our room had no curtains - only accordian PAPER over the windows, the bright lights shined in all night long and the noise was ridiculous.

For what they are charging we should have kept driving to a better place to stay. The place is old, outdated, dirty and smells musty. We only stayed because we were tired coming home from the Carolina’s.

Check-in was easy and staff was very friendlt and helpful. The room was generally comfortable but carpet was in need of replacing. Mini fridge kept our drinks cold. The tv remote didn't work well. This motel could use some updating as it looked a little worn inside, however our room was clean and we slept well each night. I would recommend this motel to others.

I wasn't aware that you had to request a non-smoking room anywhere these days. I was given a smoking room and all of my clothes smelled like cigarette smoke. It looked like the hotel was under renovation which is great because it desperately needs an upgrade. Just make certain to request a non-smoking room.

I know they are going through a renovation and it’s definitely needed. Did not know this when booked though. My room was gross and I would never stay there again. I feel bad because the girl working the desk was very nice, the property was just not worth what I paid for the night.

This property is a run down smoking hotel . When I got home the next day to unpack, my entire bag & clothes smelt like I was a smoker. Their was a sweat shirt behind the dresser. The tub was filty & patched up as if a large hole behind it.

I made my reservation online 12 days before my stay and reserved a NON-SMOKING room. When I arrived I was informed at checkin that my room had been switched to SMOKING. The stench in the room was terrible. I’ve used this hotel several times in the past, but next time in the area I’ll be staying somewhere else.

The lobby smelled like cat piss when I checked in. The hallway carpets are old and smelly. The bed had a plastic bed cover under the sheets like a baby crib and was very hot to sleep on. King mattress was old and on need or replacement. But the breakfast was very acceptable.

Pleasant stay

The room was spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee pods supplied for the in room coffee maker. We appreciated the small fridge and microwave provided. TV worked well. Pillow were comfortable. The hotel was being renovated so there was dust everywhere and plugs hanging out of the wall is some common areas. Staff were pleasant but not overly friendly. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Overall we were pleased with our stay. Once the renovations are complete this place will most likely be top notch! Just remember, no matter how nice the hotel is, customer service is what brings people back!

Not a good place to stay

We had 3 rooms and all rooms were bad. There was pieces of broken glass on the chair in the room. The odor in the rooms were bad. The bathroom was not clean including toilets and no trashcan in the bathroom either. The breakfast was one of the worst we've seen in terms of quality, service, variety, etc.
