Room smelled like smoke and our fridge went out causing our groceries to go bad. Somebody had a concert in their room until 3am. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was slightly run down

The hotel is decent. If you don’t want to be in a random building you have to specifically pick Hotel Rome. The walls are very thin and we could hear every movement of other guests. The room was cleaned but the refrigerator smelled like rotten fish and there were gnats everywhere in the room. The staff was phenomenal and we loved the parks but the hotels absolutely need work. It was fun but I doubt we will stay there again.

nice staff. room smelt horrible, had to ask to be moved. next room was fine.
very out dated and nice amenities, but not nice enough for us to ever return.
Definitly worth a 1 time trip but you'll be satisfied with the one trip
I like the room and how clean it was. The only problem we had was our bands would not open the door from the outside. We had to wait for others to open it. They did work for our room

There are many different buildings. We were in building 21. It was not very clean, and each day when I called for new towels they did not bring them and I had to call back hours later. But overall it was worth it for the price since it included admission to the park as well.

Very spacious room, what I didn’t like was the guest above us running and jumping around at 12:30/1:00am in the morning for 2 nights straight other than that it was nice.
Room was dirty and lots of damage on nearly everything. Floors in our room were sticky and dirty. We even had to request a shower curtain for the bathroom. Will definitely not be going back to the hotel portion. The water park was fun and the kids enjoyed.
The entire hotel smells like marijuana! The carpet are a 100 years old filthy dirty! The rooms smells horrible what ever cleaning supplies they are using needs to be change! The parking lot was ok and the theme park was awesome but the hotel especially building 29! Please dont stay there with young kids!

Room was okay to start with. However, we were on the first floor and the noise above us was unbelievably loud. Bathroom roof started leaking from the guests upstairs and left a large pool of water on our bathroom floor. Staff was courteous and upgraded us to a third floor room with bunk beds. After that the stay was fantastic, no noise, clean room, lots of room for the family. Was a couple minute walk across the street to the theme park and water park. Overall was a very enjoyable stay.
The room was dirty. My kids socks were black within 5 minutes without shoes.
Cable tv hope you like sports cause that's it. No wifi it was advertised as a resort. It was a motel like you séen poor people at on the 80s tv shows steps to get upstairs were busted up trip hazard. But at least the water park was fun
So you know I am a middle class country person that is used to less than perfect so coming from me trust me it's a pit
Im probally never going to stay at the resort rooms no longer due to comfort and the fact that no other guest don't care for it making noise til early in the morning. The toilets fill valve in the toilet was broken so water was going through the overflow the whole time making an extremely annoying noise.i had to actually turn off the 1/4 turn valve from.the water to shut the noise off and turn back one when being used. I got no appologies from.both expedia and or mt olypus from the headaches during the whole cancel re book process..The Lake Delton is a great place to visit..Just not at these resort rooms
Staying at hotel Rome was nice for closer parking and walking to park with young kids other than that, not impressed. Got a room with three queen beds but other than that it had two wooden chairs and one wooden bar. There was no where sit for more than two people. No couch, no table, no Kleenexes, no coffee pot. Not very clean which made me want to keep things off the floor which was very difficult with the amount of furniture. Check in was confusing and not clear that it was a mile away from the room. Room was not ready by 4pm even though I requested early check in Months in advanced. Lobby/arcade was extremely hot and only 1/3 of indoor water park was open. The first night there hours said water park open until 7pm, we got there at 5:30pm and they changed it to 6pm while my son was standing in line and they wouldn’t let him go bc they were closing soon. We had fun despite all of this because the park was cool and had unique attractions and once field trips left for the day lines were not bad.
The staff were great, attractions had very long lines but great, pricing was fair, facilities need better maintaining and the hotel Rome needs better cleanliness inside and outside. The parking situations where very confusing since hotel guests were supposed to have their own lot but it was full of non hotel guests.
Everything excellent, good attention and the parks are incredible to enjoy with the family, they should modify the resorts's mattresses, they are cumbersome
