Beautiful, peaceful location overlooking the Wisconsin River. Several sandy beaches, a pool, grilling area, and other amenities. The room was large with numerous amenities. Not your usual hotel, the buildings are constructed to resemble northern log cabins, including log cabin-type interiors. Each room has a spacious deck with water view. We mostly ate at a nearby American style restaurant also constructed of logs. We took the beautiful Upper Dells Boat tour, but as we are “retirement age”, we didn’t use the free Noah’s Ark tickets that came free with our room.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were really friendly and nice. The place looked clean and tidy. I would say there were two minor issues; there isn’t enough parking by the chalets but you can park by the office which is few feet away. The second issue is the hot water wasn’t enough. I would definitely recommend it and would book there again for sure.
