I like that this hotel is not very close to the highway, less noise even for rooms facing the road. Nice location, room was clean and spacious. The only thing is they don't have a hair dryer in the room, but you can bring your own. Would stay again!

Great place to stay to stage for backpacking, Rooms are big and the is a microwave for late-arrival dinners, Dog rooms are fine, just dog rooms. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

This was ok for a quick sleep, but the bathroom was small; carpet was dirty; the bathroom was dirty; TV is way too small; and our code didn't work. However, the gentleman who was working was very friendly and helpful. It wasn't the worst place in the world, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The room itself was a bit dingy. It was clean but stained floors, smelled, etc. It’s an old building so I suppose you can expect much. We checked in late, a note was on the door for us, we had a warm place to stay with a toilet and shower. That’s really all we needed but there isn’t much more to this room.

Check in was simple but No overhead light so i had to hold door open to find a lamp. Balcony curtains fell off the track. I had to stand on chair to fix it. Fridge is so filled with frost i couldn't fit my icepacks in. Fridge is not cold at all. Carpet is so old and grungy make sure you wear slippers at all times. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Pillows ok

The bathroom shower floor felt like you were gunna fall through, no light fixture , dead mosquitoes on bathroom ceiling, not enough lighting in room, no phone to call front desk, no hair dryer in room, had to request one but no one available till 10am, sink faucet was completely loose , & after using hair dryer blew out the TV, light in bathroom & light above the sink. Horrible experience, which is sad because I come to Winthrop all the time but would not recommend this hotel for anyone.

The location is great, but the rooms are quite dated and have a musty smell. There was also a lot of noise from people around the property, which made it hard to relax.

The gals at the front desk were great. Has free breakfast. The rooms are older and not too modern. Has Dish TV, fridge, microwave. Walkable to grocery store. Not far from town.

It was very dirty i wouldn't let a dog even stay there. Thwre was garbage outside where you in into the rooms carpwt so dirty ypu have to keep your shoes on towels had long black hair on them i dont' even know how they can even be open never stay or recommend that ro anyone.

Outdated and a little run down

Very outdated. At least a mile to walk to town. Air conditioner wouldn't turn off so we froze at night. Pictures make it look really nice but it's a very run down looking building and needs some serious TLC. Bed, however was very comfortable.
