Understand that you are paying for the water slide, castle play area and staff interaction with the kids. The room itself is NOT worth anywhere what they are charging. The room has lego decor and a scavenger hunt that takes about 36 seconds to finish. But, everything else reads like a room that should be about $100 a night. Two wall outlets, no usb charging, dingy fixtures. Old shower head, old bathtub, terrible water pressure. The bed was hard, pillows were very well used. Thankfully we didn't spend much time in the room.
My suggestion would be to stay in the Pirate hotel. It probably has the same outdated rooms but it was much cheaper and it is connected to the Legoland hotel so you can use the pool, play area, etc.
