The hotel is located in a between downtown area with a lot of restaurants in walking distance to choice from. When we arrived valet was awesome and the hotel lobby was beautiful. They did have to change our room due to some small issues that were addressed immediately. The recreation area was so nice and the kids had so much bowling. We ate at Mellow Mushroom which was about 3 blocks up and it was worth every bite 10/10

Overall, our 5 night stay was excellent. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet. The staff was very knowledgeable and accomodating. We didn’t use any of the exercise equipment, so we can’t comment on that We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant very much. We took our dinners in the bar area. The food was outstanding, as were the bartenders and wait staff. We’ve stayed at the Kimpton hotel in Seattle and enjoyed those stays. The Cardinal fully met the expectations we had, based on our stays their Seattle facility. We live nearby your hotel in Palm Springs. Although we personally haven’t a need to stay there, we’ll be recommending the Kimpton Rowan to friends and family visiting us. The only negative thing we experienced was the shower. The faucet for the shower was directly opposite the shower head. The placement of the shower door made entering the shower somewhat awkward, evidenced when the water was turned on. We were hit by cold water until the hot water arrived.

They made us pay $25 for a movie. Even a movie from 30 years ago. No smart tvs where I could watch movies I already paid for. No trash cans in game room. Only a night stand between the beds, so person sleeping on outside has no nightstand for water or phone. Only free coffee no fruit. Beds were comfortable. Staff was nice.
