Vacations Close To Winona County Courthouse

The ambiance, location, staff were all fantastic! The room was very clean and well setup. We liked everything except for the chairs in front of the tv. We would have preferred something a little more comfortable, preferably a small couch or a chair one can sink into.

What a lovely place and time! I was traveling for work and only wish I had more time to spend. The owners have thought of everything, and if they didn’t, they would be sure to oblige if you asked! This place is totally worth it and I will be back!

I love that they had a shuttle to the Mayo clinic. Very convenient.

The lobby is nice and smells fresh but once you get onto the floors with rooms you notice a huge difference. The carpet is stained and the smell of dampness is through out the halls and rooms. The carpet is sooo very old and so badly stained it feels very unclean. The furniture in the rooms are very worn out. Again the feeling of breathing damp musty dirty air is alarming. Our room had multiple stains on the carpet, especially a rather large one in the middle of the room. Being this close to Mayo, most if not all are staying there due to medical conditions and being in an environment that has basic hygiene is imperative. We did decide to leave early as a result. I couldn’t recommend staying here.

Our bathroom was dirty. The water temperature was horrible. It would get extremely hot then cold then hot again. Our sink was plugged. We did call the front desk and they did say they would call maintenance but it did not get fixed. The shower curtain touched you the entire shower so I sure hope they cleaned it good. Vey noisy room could hear toilets flush and people talking. Construction all night.

There where two towels hanging up in closet area not ours. But most important my sister fell getting out of the shower hurting her leg. They need too get non slippery Matt’s in there or something!! And we had to ask for soap to wash are hands. 1st I called the front desk no answer and then I called maintenance and line was busy! The bathroom was out of conditioner and that why my sister fell getting out of tube to get her own conditioner she brought with. I will never stay there again. And when checking in the bikers were hogging the line and kept cutting in front of me!!!
