Vacations Close To Winnemucca Convention and Visitor's Center

Finding the entrance to the lodge is tricky and took us a few tries. Luckily the checkin staff was super helpful and came and got us from the road. He was super nice through the whole stay and even helped us start a fire in the common lodge area in the evening. Only thing is the private room with bunks was crazy small. My friend and I could barely walk past each other to do anything in the room and enter/exit. Dorms might be better if you want a little more room but less privacy.

NO AC!!! It was 90 degrees inside and never cooled down. It ended up being cooler outside. Should have brought a hammock and stayed outside, although at this rate that would be a really expensive campsite! Only stay here in the winter, and at that I’d check to ensure there heat works first too!

The parking was horrible. Outside cleaning was too bad.
