A wonderful quiet place to escape the din of the city with kind and caring staff offering the best of German attention to detail. If only we could have extended our stay, but we had a tight schedule. We’ll be back soon!

The service and cleanliness of the Guesthouse are fabulous. It serves a great breakfast. I gave 4 stars to the area around the facility, outside the gate, just to call attention to it being a mile from the center of Windhoek. The walk was not a problem for me, but it could be for a lot of folk. The management can order a car, and many tours will pick you up there.

Antonio was a fantastic host. I would recommend that anyone looking for a place to stay in Windhoek stay at Maison Ambre. He will look after you like family, or even better, like a life long friend.

I was in room 2 for 1 night. The shower is moldy and extra small. The bath room needs a major upgrade. The bedroom was adequate.The breakdast was sparce, but the owner is very attentive.

Sehr nette Gastgeberinnen. Einfache, aber sehr gute Unterkunft mit allem, was man braucht. Sogar mit kleinem Außenpool und Außenbereich mit Liegen und Getränken auf Vertrauensbasis. Außerdem Parkplätze gesichert auf dem Gelände.
