Housekeeping came by around 930am We told them we would be leaving around 1030. They really never came back. We saw someone who gave us towels but that was it.

The property was outdated for being a 5 star hotel. Wallpaper was peeling off, dirt on the floor, tub wouldn’t drain - rooms were nothing special. We stayed here for a wedding. The ballroom and common areas were fabulous, so much history. If you look past all that if you are staying at the hotel, it isn’t great. They are charging far too much for what you get!

Hotel DuPont always exceeds my expectations. If you are looking for a place in Wilmington, don’t bother looking around, checking out prices on the river or other places, just pick this hotel. You won’t regret your decision. The staff is wonderful, Kara especially. They have deep soaking tubs for two in some rooms and they are worth the upgrade and you feel at home there.

Amazing service and clean. They upgraded my colleague and found him a piece of cheesecake for his birthday. Room was immense yet dated fixtures. Could use a refresh. Very clean and well appointed.
