I kept my purse in the fridge because I was afraid a cockroach would crawl in. The staff was wonderful, but the hotel itself was not. Adjacent to a liquor store, a less than reputable crowd hangs around the parking lot at night. I do not recommend for even a mother-in-law

Overall, our stay was decent. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The only downside was the $100 “hold” for incidentals. It’s actually charged to your card upfront and then refunded 3–5 business days later, which was a little misleading and inconvenient. Other than that, we had a good experience.

Room looked like it was recently renovated with up-to-date bathroom fixtures and new/relatively new microwave and small refrigerator. The person who was at the breakfast area in the morning was polite and friendly. The person at the desk acted like we were bothering him while checking in. They required a $100 security deposit when we checked in, even though it is not mentioned on their web site, and we had prepaid for the room. The air conditioning unit appeared to be very old and was hard to regulate the temperature.
