Wonderful hotel in great Cape Fear River location. Loved walking to all the historic homes from this hotel. Fabulous story about Topsy the circus elephant at the original Arrive building location. Look forward to staying there again.

This was a unique hotel, beautiful and comfortable room, lovely property, but be aware this is not your Hilton or Marriott. There are no elevators or on-site parking. You park across the street, no problem unless your baggage is heavy. I climbed to the 3rd floor with my baggage. Not terrible for me but unexpected. I probably failed to read the fine print 😁. The room was a gorgeous throw back to plush glamorous art deco style. Bedding fabulously comfortable with many pillows. I hope my photos will do Arrive justice.

You could hear every step on the floors above, every flush of the toilet, and every drip of water from all the showers and sinks above. Advertised as a resort hotel. It is not. There are no amenities unless you like corn hole and rocking chairs. No elevator and the restaurant was closed for diner both days we stayed. Great location and a decent motel. Front desk made up for our disappoint they were great.
